Winter Colour, Community Spirit and Garden Inspiration
June at Ferndale:
Winter has officially arrived in Cape Town, and while the temperatures may have dropped, the nursery is full of colour, life and inspiration.
June is one of our favourite gardening months. Cooler weather and seasonal rainfall create ideal conditions for planting, allowing roots to establish before the warmer months arrive. It is a wonderful time to refresh pots, add colour to garden beds and start planning for a beautiful spring garden.
Our Colouring Competition Was a Blooming Success
One of the highlights of the season has been our Mother’s Month Ferndale Colouring Competition.
We were absolutely delighted by the response and amazed by the creativity shown across all age groups. Every entry brought something unique, making the judging process both exciting and incredibly difficult.
Congratulations to all our winners in the Open Category and Children’s Category.
Most importantly, thank you to every person who took the time to enter. Your enthusiasm and creativity helped make this one of our most enjoyable competitions yet.
We have showcased our winning entries throughout the nursery and on our social media channels, and look forward to welcoming even more budding artists next year.
